Mastodon guitarist Bill Kelliher played a new Mastodon riff during a recent Guitar Center Workshop in California. Kelliher was there to promote his signature Lace pickups, Dissonant Aggressors. During the chat Kelliher jokingly refers to having just done a “new ‘Game Of Thrones‘ thing” (3:28 in,) suggesting that they will may be involved with the second volume of “Catch The Throne: The Mixtape“. If true, it wouldn’t be the first time the band have crossed paths with the show.
Other participants on tap for the compilation include Anthrax, Killswitch Engage, Method Man, Snoop Dogg and more. That compilation is due for a free release in March.
