Members of Immortal are currently in the middle of a legal battle over ownership to the bands name and trademarks. Dagbladet.no have a report that frontman/guitarist Olve “Abbath” Eikemo has made moves to secure the bands logo/brand in order to be owned specifically by his own company.
This move is obviously being petitioned by his bandmates, Harald “Demonaz” Nævdal and drummer Reidar “Horgh” Horghagen, who aim to have the trademarks shared between all three members. A patents office ruling on the dispute is expected to be handed down early in the new year.
