Will The Faceless Be Rejoined By A Former Vocalist?

An interesting tweet made over at Sumerian Records is either wishful thinking of perhaps a hint of what is to come for The Faceless. That tweet, which is available below, states: “Bring Back #DemonCarcass”, referring to the bands past vocalist, Derek “Demon Carcass” Rydquist.

The tweet of course arrives after this week’s departure of vocalist Geoffrey Ficco from the outfit. While there is no evidence outside the tweet to suggest Rydquist will be welcomed back into the fold, it is at least worth noting he did rejoin the band onstage earlier in the year. Prior to Ficco‘s departure the band had announced the following January shows:

01/17 Tampa, FL – The Orpheum (‘Overload Festival‘)
01/24 Dallas, TX – Trees (‘Winter Jamboree‘)

It is unclear whether or not the fate of those performances has been affected by Ficco‘s exit.
