Former Arch Enemy guitarist Nick Cordle has released a statement of his own regarding his departure from the band. You can read that below. Ex-Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis has since been brought onboard to replace Cordle.

I have parted ways with Arch Enemy. On War Eternal I believe we made music together which will stand the test of time, and I wish them well for the future.
I want to send out enormous thanks to the AE fans all over the world who have been so welcoming to me for the last three years! Your kindness amazes me and made this time very special. I very much hope to see all of you again!
For some time now I’ve been working on new music with a very intense set of people. There’s something that needs to be said in metal these days and I’m not hearing it, so we’re making it. I look forward to sharing it with all of you when it’s ready!”
