Some new Periphery material was being recorded this weekend with Taylor Larson (Sky Eats Airplane, Darkest Hour) behind the boards. Band vocalist Spencer Sotelo said of the sessions via his Twitter:
“Drum tracking for new periphery today went great! @taylorlarson’s drums are sounding better than ever. Time to track some geeeetars”
Interestingly it doesn’t appear to be a full-fledged session just yet as he later told a fan that only drummer Matt Halpern and himself were in the studio thus far. It was also not specified what the sessions were for. However, some footage from them can be seen after the break.
