The Faceless have an album of remixes and covers planned for a release later this year. Band nucleus Michael Keene recently told LAWeekly.com that covers of David Bowie‘s “As The World Falls Down” (from the film “Labyrinth“); and a cover of Nine Inch Nails‘ “March Of The Pigs” would be among those featured on the outing. Remixes of The Faceless material provided by unspecified “industrial artists” will also be included.
Keene also mentioned that writing is already underway for the follow-up to the bands latest album, “Autotheism“. Speaking with the above-mentioned site, he said of the new songs:
“It’s pretty eclectic. Some of the stuff is really technical metal, but some of it is really jazz-influenced stuff. I don’t know how to fit it all in and make it The Faceless yet, but I’m going to.”
