Overkill have been forced to drop off the remaining dates of Testament‘s ‘Dark Roots Of Thrash Tour‘. The following statement was issued by the band regarding their exit:
“Due to an illness in the band, Overkill has canceled the remainder of its shows on ‘The Dark Roots Of Thrash‘ tour in February. After some time for recovery, we’ll be back out in the spring for our Scandinavian tour. See you then!!”
The illness referred to above is band frontman Bobby Blitz‘s recent diagnosis of walking pneumonia.
