The Black Dahlia Murder have officially parted ways with drummer Shannon Lucas. Lucas himself put out the following video statement announcing his departure from the group.
In the clip he reveals that he hopes to track the drums for his supergroup with Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher of Cannibal Corpse in January. He also has another grind group in the works and plans to open a tattoo shop.
Currently The Black Dahlia Murder have enlisted the services of ex-Abigail Williams drummer Alan Cassidy in his absence—though he is not yet a permanent member.
