The “Death To All Tour” kicked off yesterday night (June 22nd) in San Francisco, CA. The series of shows sees various Death alumni and guests unite to pay tribute to the bands material and their late frontman, Chuck Schuldiner; while also raising awareness for Sweet Relief.
Intronaut/Bereft drummer Danny Walker was brought onboard, at least temporarily, to fill in on a few songs for Sean Reinert (of Cynic.) Reinert suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon while rehearsing for the shows. Another last minute addition was Exhumed‘s Matt Harvey, who apparently filled in Obscura vocalist/guitarist Steffen Kummerer. Kummerer was allegedly absent as a result of visa issues.
