Your Demise guitarist Daniel Osborne took to the bands Facebook to discuss the issues he had with the groups former frontman George Noble. Speaking on that he offered:

“I would never normally write/post something like this, as nothing has really affected me to this extent before. There are a few things I would like to clear up in regards to Your Demise‘s past. I’m not going to talk about everything, but I feel the time now to mention my view of our previous singer.

Towards the end of his time in the band, my confidence was at an all time low, and the final straw was when he broke my collar bone and gave me internal bleeding from kicking me on stage. Not many people know this apart from my band and family because I keep personal stuff to myself.

All the people saying bring him back and giving Ed a hard time is ridiculous. That person is not a god, or the leader of UK hardcore.

Ed has been in the band for 3 years now and it’s been the best time of my life; since Ed has been in the band, the band has grown closer and tighter together and we are like brothers.
I wanted to get this off my chest coz it’s been brewing up inside me for years, and I’m not one to bad mouth, but you need to know the facts. Yourdemise 2000 and forever xx”

The statements are seemingly an answer to the backlash the band have been facing since the release of their divisive new song, “These Lights“. The track signalled a change in direction for the band, with many fans insisting it was the work of Noble‘s replacement, current Your Demise frontman Ed McRae.

The band will release their new album “The Golden Age” overseas on March 26th.
