The Ocean are planning a special live performance of their entire new album “Heliocentric“, complete with backing from a live orchestra (cello, viola, violin, contrabass, piano, saxophone) of sorts. The show will take place at Bikini Test in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland on March 26th and both it and the bands May 07th set at “Friction Fest” in Berlin, Germany will be filmed for a future live DVD release through Metal Blade.
“Heliocentric” is the first installment of a two part conceptually linked series of albums and will arrive in stores on April 13th through Metal Blade. Its companion outing “Anthropocentric” is expected out in October. In addition to that, the band will have an exclusive track by the name of “Asslickers, Inc.” included on the “Falling Down II” compilation which will soon be released overseas through Pelagic Records.
