The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza will enter the studio in November with Jeremiah Scott and Steve Blackmon to begin recording their new album “Danza III: The Series Of Unfortunate Events“. Tentative song titles for the effort so far include:
“Passenger 57“
“I Am Sammy Jankis“
“Yippie-Ky-Yay-Motherfucker“
The latter track will be made available online next week, while the album itself is expected out early next year through Black Market Activities/Metal Blade. In other news, the band have also parted ways with both guitarist Layne Meylain and bassist Mike Butler. The following statement was offered in regards to the situation:
“We are sad to inform everyone that Layne Meylain and Mike Butler are no longer a part of this project. There is no bad blood between any of us, and we are extremely proud of them for taking on their responsibilities and continuing with their life endeavors. They will be sorely missed,as they continue to push us in finishing this album and keep Danza going.”
