Platinum-certified nĂ¼-metal outfit Crazy Town have returned to the stage following this spring’s string of troubling events surrounding the band. You’re likely aware that a bloody backstage fistfight between vocalists Shifty Shellshock and Bobby Reeves played out after Shellshock missed the band’s April 23rd show in Myrtle Beach, SC.
While Reeves went on to say the pair had buried the hatchet, the erratic behavior exhibited by members of the group ultimately saw them ejected from the ‘Nu Metal Madness Tour 2‘ by headliners (hed)p.e..
(hed)p.e.‘s Jared Gomes commented of that at the time:
“Because of what’s going on with Seth and Crazy Town right now, Seth needs help. We can’t just sit by while he’s on the road battling demons to the death. He needs to get off the road and deal with that shit.”
It later came to light that Shellshock had been arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in Myrtle Beach, SC on April 25th, just days after the aforementioned brawl.
Now comes word that Crazy Town were back on stage this past Saturday, June 10th, to perform at the ‘Ruckus Festival‘ in Lake Elsinore, CA alongside Powerman 5000 and Kottonmouth Kings. Per the below fan-filmed footage, it would appear that Reeves and several other members of the group were at least temporary absent.
Notably Reeves currently lists himself as a former vocalist for Crazy Town on his Instagram.
