Mike Patton To Return To The Stage With Mr. Bungle This December

In the fall of 2021, Faith No More and Mr. Bungle were forced to cancel their then scheduled touring plans in light of mental health issues being suffered by the band’s frontman Mike Patton. In July of this year, Patton opened up about those issues, explaining that he had developed a severe case of the anxiety disorder agoraphobia amid the pandemic. He also revealed that he had sought out professional help and has been continuing to focus on his therapy.

It would appear that therapy is going well, as Mr. Bungle have announced some live shows in December, which will serve as Patton‘s return to the stage since first being sidelined by the disorder. Those dates now include:

Ahead of those shows you can hear Patton front and center on “II“, the sophomore album from his supergroup Dead Cross. That effort will receive an October 28th release date via Ipecac Recordings.
