In an interesting turn of events, Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler has been confirmed to return to the stage later this year, though it seems it won’t be with Lamb Of God—at least for now. Adler stepped down from performing live with Lamb Of God last July, citing injuries from a motorcycle accident as the culprit for his downtime.
When asked a few weeks back when Adler would be returning to Lamb Of God, the band’s frontman Randy Blythe commented “It’s hard to say what’s gonna happen.” Now comes word that Adler will be out handling the drums as part of the ‘Hail! Rockstar Extravaganza‘ later this year.
Joining him on that overseas run are Exodus vocalist Steve “Zetro” Souza, Vio-lence/ex-Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel and former Megadeth, etc. bassist James LoMenzo. Thus far the below October 19th date at the Rock House in Moscow, Russia has slipped out.
Since Adler stepped down from his role, Lamb Of God have been touring with Art Cruz of Winds Of Plague/Prong fame in his place. During that time Adler himself has been focusing on his management company Kintsugi Management and his artwork.
