Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Drank His Own Vomit In Front Of Marilyn Manson On ‘Ozzfest’

Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor spoke of his decade plus friendship with Marilyn Manson in a piece over at The piece arrives as Slipknot, Marilyn Manson and Of Mice & Men prepare to kickoff their summer tour together tomorrow, June 28th, in Nashville, TN. While the admiration between Slipknot and Manson is mutual, Taylor himself holds Manson‘s 1996 album, “Antichrist Superstar“, in the highest regard, stating:

“To this day I think ‘Antichrist Superstar‘ is one of the best albums ever made. I don’t mean just metal, rock or whatever; I mean albums, full stop. And it’s one of those albums that I can listen to from top to bottom every time. I don’t skip tunes. I don’t pull up the ones I just want to hear. I don’t even really listen to the singles. I listen to that album from top to bottom, because it still stands up just as much today as it did when it first came out.”

Taylor also recalled Slipknot‘s first time touring with Marilyn Manson back on the 2001 ‘Ozzfest‘, sharing the following colorful tale:

“I was pretty lit, pretty much for that whole tour. I do remember throwing up in a cup and drinking it in front of Manson and he kind of freaked out. He didn’t really know how to take it. And then he ran into our dressing room in tighty-whitey underwear and kind of danced for us and kind of ran back out, and we were like, ‘What the fuck just happened?'”
