Uncle No, Dissolute, Phat Ruckus - Split CD

I'll start saying to y'all that this is NOT an official release. Mike, of Uncle No, made this CD-R to me, with 3 bands (2 songs each) so i can have an idea of their sound. Dissolute is a side project of Mike, and Phat Ruckus is a band that he's working with, and which he think that can do it. Now, let's talk about the CD. The first band is Dissolute, and boy, this is some dope stuff. Pure metal is what this is, with very strong vocals, and a great music. The singer still makes me smile everytime I listen to it. This is a band which really amazed me, and I think it worths a listen. Uncle No continues this split. The first Uncle No song that Mike put here, Holidays, has a catchy riff, and makes a good job with the singers' voices. S.H.A.R.E., the second Uncle No song, is a live version. It's cool cause I could notice that they're really good live as well. I think Mike sings really well in that one, particularly. Uncle No has a bit of everything, that's why I liked 'em so much. They're very creative, and yeah, I can say they're original, although it's hard to find an original band these days. All in all, S.H.A.R.E. is a great song. Phat Ruckus is good, although I can say (and I know that Mike will be upset when he read this) that it's the worst band of the split. But don't get me wrong, it's just cause Uncle No and Dissolute are TOO fucking good. Phat Ruckus is still very amazing. The Ruckus shows a funky vibe. No screams, only singing.... actually, I think their singer is really good. Crush the Maximum shows how good he is rapping. In the end of that song, they made some instrumental part that makes me wanna cry, hehehe. I miss a vocal there, but it's all good. The second song, Tuesday, October 13th 1998, is more like my taste. The singer sings much more, and still pretty good. I dig the instrumental part too. Very good work with the guitars and the bass lines. What can I say? All 3 bands are awesome. Well, at least here's a message to Mike: send Dissolute's CD to Roadrunner, Uncle No's CD to Immortal and Phat Ruckus CD to Sony. I'm sure at least one of them will be caught up.
