"It's time to come back! After a two-year break, DECAPITATED is coming back with new members. The official new line-up for DECAPITATED will be announced at the end of December.
As you all know, the decision to continue the band was really, really hard for me, but everything I do now is to keep DECAPITATED alive. Covan's situation has not improved much and he is still in bed and unable to function on his own. He still fights to recover as we speak and we are all still 100% behind him and hope for the best. It has been the hardest thing for me to move on without Vitek by my side, but he would have wanted me to continue with the band.
Finally, I have found some great musicians who can continue the work of Vitek and Covan. At the beginning of April, DECAPITATED will start to play our first reunion shows. We will visit the biggest cities in Australia and play some of the biggest summer festivals in Europe. Don't worry, we won't forget about the U.K.! After this, the band will concentrate on the making of a new album! I would like to thank all the people who have supported us all this time."
The future of the group has been in a relative limbo since a 2007 automobile accident in Russia which eventually claimed the life of drummer Witold "Vitek" Kieltyka and left vocalist Adrian "Covan" Kowanek in a coma. Dates curretly booked for the newest incarnation of the band run as follows:

We have not heard back of the promoter who was gonna put up those shows in the last few weeks so we are completely unaware of whether he has booked flights for us or not. He has simply disappeared from the screen, so to speak. Some Irish promoters have emailed us asking about the shows so in order to avoid further confusion, we regretfully have to cancel those shows now. We hope to be back in Ireland in 2010."

These are the basic guidelines but feel free to be creative. Set your web cam to the best quality video setting (h.264 or mpeg4 are good) and then email the clip to: [email protected]
If the file is too big for your email try sending it via www.sendthisfile.com or www.yousendit.com (both are free)
WARNING -Do not foam onto your keyboard or other sensitive equipment! It doesn't take much alka-seltzer, if you use a whole one it will probably come out your nose! the sooner you get it to us the better, but the deadline is Thursday October 22!"

"I Am (God)"
"In Death Comes The Great Silence"
"Infernal Divide"
"Waiting For The Rain"
"Floods" (demo)
Band vocalist/guitarist Sorceron had the following to say about the aforementioned songs:
"the first song, 'I Am (God)' is a new song that signifies the first collaboration between new keyboard player Alana and myself. 'In Death Comes the Great Silence' reveals a new direction that the band has been working towards over the last year while 'Infernal Divide' is another new song that once again redefines that ABIGAIL WILLIAMS sound. This track was recorded quite raw and has a strong black metal influence. 'Waiting for the Rain' is a somber interlude we have been using a bit during live shows and the last track is the demo version of 'Floods.' I felt it was important to include this track because it captures the vibe of the song better than the album track; perhaps due to the work of original drummer Zack Gibson."
Also featured on the deluxe edition will be the bands video for their track "Into The Ashes". A vinyl version of the album limited to 1000 copies will also be released on January 12th as well.

It is not yet known if her position will be permanent though as she has only been enlisted for the bands upcoming headlining tour at present. She replaces Kristen Randall, whose departure from the group was announced just yesterday, October 14th. Speaking on Marx's addition to the band, group frontman Johnny Plague had the following to say:
"We just completed an extremely successful Japanese tour with our brothers in Terror and made a few much needed changes within our camp upon returning home. We owe it to our dedicated fans to bring them the best show possible each and every night and the addition of Lisa Marx to our line-up is going to allow just that. We are currently holed up rehearsing intensely for the upcoming headlining fall tour and we are pulling out all the stops with this event.
This stage setup is going to feature a massive light show, larger than life backdrop, scrims and risers. We want to entertain the crowd and bring them a true show so they leave feeling like they got more than their money’s worth. The package is solid from top to bottom and we can’t wait to annihilate everywhere with some new, never before played material. This is going to be the definitive WINDS OF PLAGUE show, so don’t miss out. We hope to see you all soon."
In related news, Randall further elaborated to "Noisecreep" about her future plans, which include modeling, acting and more. You can check out what she had to say here.

"No mere music video, Playing with Dolls is a stark, 12-part nightmare that breathes corrupt life into Slayer's latest syllabus of stalkers, psychopaths and serial killers, merging their aberrant psyches into the supremely focused desire of a single, merciless malcontent. A methodical distillation of one man's lethal frenzy, the film follows the gruesome outbursts of a nameless protagonist. He is not an indiscriminate murder junkie, but rather a highly creative snuff-artist with a deeply personal sense of purpose - a man for whom murder is the only conceivable way forward. With a black heart hardened by tragedy, he chooses his victims carefully. His methods are as grisly and varied as they are poetic."
"World Painted Blood" will land in stores in both standard and deluxe editions on November 03rd through American/Columbia.

Will Haven have been rejoined by original frontman Grady Avenell. Despite Avenell's return though, the band will also still be involving his previous replacement, Jeff Jaworski. Official word on the matter from the band can be found below:
"After a little time off and doing a few benefit shows for our brother Chi Cheng of the Deftones, we are back to work. As some of you may have seen Grady did join us for a few of the benefit shows we did for Chi and also an amazing show in San Francisco a few months ago. After those shows we had a few dicussions about will havens future and Grady expressed that he would like to be a part of it. So after working out details I am very happy to say that we are currently working on a new record with Grady handling the vocal duties. Jeff Jaworski will still be a big part of the band and helping with the writting process on the new record. So we are more than excited to be all working together on making an amazing record.
We have been demoing a few songs and I can say that I could not be happier. We will continue to keep everyone up to date on when we expect to have a record out, hopefully in January next year or earlier. We may do one or two shows while we are working on the record so we will post them up when we figure out when and where; definately look for us to be in the Los Angeles area soon. That will most likely mark our first 'official' show with Grady. So we are more than excited to have Grady back with us, the time away has done him good because he is back with more rage than ever."
