Quitter:
Hailing from the almost infamous spawning ground of bands known as Sacramento, CA, Quitter (not to be confused with the band of the same name on Tortuga Recordings) have made a considerable impression in their local area on the strength of their two releases "Inventing The Answer Box" and "Arms Of Shiva", plus a constant string of live shows. Currently the group are prepping new material for their next offering which they will begin recording this summer. |

With a full-length debut entitled "Broken In Pieces..." primed for a release next month through Sterile Records and ambitious touring plans in support of it to follow, this group look to have a great chance at breaking the Canadian curse. |

Coheed And Cambria:
Originally forming back in 1995 as Shabutie, Coheed And Cambria managed to slug their way through the NY scene to establish themselves a considerable niche of dedicated fans. With a continual refinement of their sound they managed to land a deal with Equal Vision Records who released the bands latest effort "Second Stage Turbine Blade" earlier this year. With hefty touring in sight and major labels now beginning to take interest, it seems as though the groups long haul is finally paying off. |

On Broken Wings:
Displaying an impressive range of hardcore/metalcore stylings, On Broken Wings have a composition and detail that will leave you only having just touched the surface upon first listen, and well and truly immersed by the second and third. With a full length recording set for a June release backed by some large Boston shows, the latter half of the year should be fruitful for this dynamic act who craft Zao like vocals with hard edged riffs and solid percussion. |

:SWITCH::
:SWITCH: are distinct from the handful of British bands currently being heavily touted as they have none of the nu metal nuances seemingly required to become a press darling. Bruisingly heavy and British sounding they fuse elements of melodic metal and hardcore with devastating impact. A song from the band is set to appear on the next edition of the Lockjaw Records compilation "Helping You Back To Work", which has long been a shining light in the U.K. underground scene. Don't be surprised if the band continue to move onto greater things. |
