The Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato recently recapped his summer touring and the bands plans for the immediate future in a lengthy update. Among the various details was word that he recently worked on an upcoming KMFDM remix. Further info is expected in the coming weeks.
Soulfly have announced that The Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato will join them for a live rendition of the pairs collaborative track “Rise Of The Fallen” later this month. Puciato will take to the stage with the band at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, AZ on August 28th as part of the annual “D-Low Memorial Show”, which is held each year in memory of Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera’s stepson Dana Wells, who passed away in 1996. Incite, Howitzier, 49 Til Midnight and North Of Nowhere will round out the bill.
The Ocean have been added to the duration of The Dillinger Escape Plan’s upcoming fall European/UK Tour with Cancer Bats and Rolo Tomassi.
The Dillinger Escape Plan, Arch Enemy, Snot and more are among the latest additions to the upcoming “Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock” video game. The eleven latest artists to be added to the game include:

Return To Earth, who feature current Coheed And Cambria/ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan drummer Chris Pennie within their ranks, have set an August 17th release date through Metal Blade for their new album “Automata“. For now, a new track from the outing by the name of “You Will Be Replaced” can be streamed via the bands Myspace.
iwrestledabearonce are assembling a 2-CD/1-DVD reissue of their latest outing “It’s All Happening” for a June 29th release date through Century Media. The new version of the outing will feature the original album on the first disc, while the second disc will play host to a number of remixes of the bands material done by the likes of The Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Benjamin Weinman and Mindless Self Indulgence frontman Jimmy Urine.
Meanwhile, the DVD portion will feature studio webisodes, promo videos and more. Song stems allowing fans to remix the bands tracks themselves will also be included in the set. On top of that, five random copies of the album will come with a “golden ticket” which will grant “guest access to three IWABO shows of their choice, a meet and greet with the band, IWABO merchandise and memorabilia.”

Soulfly have premiered their new video for their track “Rise Of The Fallen” online over at Metal Sucks. Both the clip and the track feature a guest appearance from The Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato. The band filmed the video at The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY this past March with director Dale Resteghini (Mudvayne, Trivium). “Rise Of The Fallen” is the first single from the bands forthcoming new album “Omen“, which will land in stores on May 25th through Roadrunner.
