Linkin Park recently wrapped up filming a video for their new single “The Catalyst” with band DJ Joe Hahn behind the camera. The song is set to arrive at radio on August 02nd and comes from the bands new album “A Thousand Suns“, which will see a September 14th release date through Machine Shop Recordings/Warner Bros. Records.

Metallica, Slayer and Slipknot are among the various metal artists who will have playable tracks in the next installment of the “Guitar Hero” videogame franchise, “Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock“. The game will also feature a brand new Megadeth track dubbed “Sudden Death” which was written exclusively for the game. Cypress Hill have made the video for their track “Rise Up” available for viewing online below. Both the song and the video feature a guest appearance from Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello. “Rise Up” is the title track to the bands new album, which will see an April 20th release date and will feature guest appearances from Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda and Daron Malakian of System Of A Down/Scars On Broadway fame, among others.
