Baroness have added three headlining off-dates to their forthcoming Australian run supporting Metallica and Lamb Of God. The solo stops run as follows:

Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe recently spoke with Behemoth frontman/guitarist Adam “Nergal” Darski, who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. Speaking on Twitter, Blythe offered the following on their conversation:
“Behemoth fans- talked to Nergal last night- just finished first round of chemo- he is in great spirits, just recovering. Positive thoughts!”
Between The Buried And Me are planning to record a new EP in December according to a recent interview with band bassist Dan Briggs. Also revealed were plans for band guitarist Paul Waggoner to tour with Lamb Of God later this year. More info is expected in the coming weeks.

Chimaira were joined by onstage by Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe at the recent Nampa, Idaho stop of the “Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival“. They performed the track “Pure Hatred” together, fan filmed footage of which can be found below. Chimaira will release their new live 2 DVD/1 CD outing “Coming Alive” on July 20th through Ferret Music.

This Or The Apocalypse’s new track “Subverse” has debuted online via the bands Myspace. The song will appear on their new album “Haunt What’s Left“, which is on course for a June 22nd release date through Good Fight Music. The album was produced by Josh Wilbur (Lamb Of God, Avenged Sevenfold) and Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler.

A demo recording of Lamb Of God’s track “Hourglass” has been posted online over at Skullsnbones.com. The song will featured on various editions of the bands upcoming “Hourglass” 15th anniversary sets which are due out through Epic this coming Tuesday, June 01st.

According to Roadrunnerrecords.co.uk, Lamb Of God have tracked a cover of the Pearl & Dean cinema theme “Asteroid” for the new film “Iron Man 2“, which opens today. As previously reported, the band also tracked a new song by the name of “Hit The Wall” for the impending video game adaption of the film, which will arrive in stores on May 05th.
Lamb Of God are moving ahead with a series of anthology releases for a June 01st release date. First up is “Hourglass: The Ultimate Anthology“, a box set that will find 180 gram vinyl editions of the bands six outings (“Wrath“, “Sacrament“, “Ashes Of The Wake“, “As The Palaces Burn“, “New American Gospel” and “Burn The Priest“) released together in special packaging.
Also in the works are the CD and more than likely digital outings, “Hourglass Volume I – The Underground Years” and “Hourglass Volume II – The Epic Years“. Both efforts are due out on June 01st as well and will feature the following track listings:
