Burning The Masses Delay New Album

    19.07.10 @ 4:53 pm Posted by wookubus

Burning The Masses have delayed their new album “Offspring Of Time” to an as yet unspecified release date. The effort was originally set to arrive in stores through Mediaskare tomorrow, July 20th. Speaking on the delay, the band offered the following statement:

“WE’RE SORRY TO INFORM YOU GUYS BUT DUE TO COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS OUR ALBUM HAS BEEN PUSHED BACK. THIS IS NOT OUR FAULT! WE WERE VERY UPSET WHEN WE WERE INFORMED.
BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THE CD WILL BE OUT SOON AND WE WILL UPLOAD A NEW SONG FOR YOU GUYS TO HEAR. WE’RE VERY SORRY TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE BEEN WAITING…”

  • Cattle Decapitation will embark on the “California Blood Tour” with Devourment, Knights Of The Abyss, Burning The Masses and Son Of Aurelius beginning late September. Speaking on the tour, Cattle Decapitation frontman Travis Ryan offered the following:

“We’ve had this idea for a tour that was mostly comprised of California bands for quite a while now. I don’t know, there was just something about the term ‘California love’ (popularized by Tupac Shakur) that never quite sat right with us so we came up with something a little more fitting, considering the level of brutality that California has always had under its belt.

From the seedy sewers in the big cities to the ‘Cowshwitz’ communities of central CA to the inhospitable depravity of the dry desert, we decided it was time to show the rest of the US that CaliGOREnia is not just about hippies, silicone bodies and marijuana dispensaries (not that there’s anything wrong with that, haha!)”
