Tesseract Reveal New Singer, Tease New Single “Nocturne”

TesseracT have revealed Ashe O’Hara as their new singer. You can sample some of his work with the band via the trailer for their new single “Nocturne” below. Meanwhile, the following press release was issued regarding his addition:

“UK Progressive Metal band, TESSERACT, are excited to welcome Ashe O’Hara into the group as their new vocalist. Ashe‘s power, emotion, and diversity will help to continue the distinctive yet ever evolving TESSERACT sound.

Hailing from Northampton originally, Ashe spent his early years singing in many different groups, from choirs to musical theatre, and has more recently worked on a number of ambient/alternative metal projects as well as session work. Ashe currently resides in Hove, East Sussex and is eagerly awaiting the upcoming tour and working on the new album.

Comments Ashe: I have always been an admirer of their work so it’s pretty awesome to be passed such a challenging flame. I am very aware of the anticipation and I am certainly feeling the weight of it; but I am equally excited for what shall be an amazing and shithot experience!

TESSERACT adds, “We realize that the vocalist search seemed like it took a long time, but we wanted to make sure that we found someone who was a perfect fit both on stage and in the studio and Ashe is just that. We very much appreciate the patience and support our fans have shown us and look forward to the next TesseracT chapter.”

The first preview of that chapter, a teaser of the song, “Nocturne“, can be heard here:

Nocturne” will be available as a free download and streaming everywhere on October 12th.

“‘Nocturne‘, is one of the most uplifting and exciting pieces of music we have created. It faithfully continues down the same vein of groovy and euphoric progressive soundscapes that we’re known for. Whilst at the same time allowing for the musical evolution that is essential for any band that has a lineup change,” says TESSERACT

TESSERACT also recently picked up the ‘New Blood’ award voted for by readers of PROG magazine at last week’s first ever Progressive Music Awards in their native UK and are preparing to for a small run through the UK and Europe where you will have the chance to meet Ashe, too.”

Endwell Rejoined By Former Members For Upcoming Releases

Endwell have retooled their lineup with some returning members for their upcoming releases. The band released both the following update and video outlining their recent activities and future plans:

“In case you don’t have the time or capabilities to watch our video update here the scoop…

1st) We are in the process of writing a one off Special EP w/ The “Consequences” line up that will be out on Mediaskare in the coming months
the lineup for this EP is :

Sean Murphy – Vocals
Danny Pupplo – Guitar
Matt Rogers aka RealBadDTD – Bass (Revenge EP, consequences, Punishment)
Dustin Newcombe - Guitar (consequences)
Andy Zambito – Drums (revenge EP, consequences)

2nd) While were working on the EP we are also hard at work writing the follow up Full Length Album you’ve been waiting for….with that we would like to welcome back our former drummer and 2nd vocalist Mike Kaabe. If you think of the Ep as sort of a prequel to Punishment consider this full length ENDWELL 3.0.

Moving toward the future the new ENDWELL lineup will be:

Sean Murphy - Vocals, Electronics
Danny Pupplo – Guitar, Backing Vocals
Mike Kaabe – Drums, Backing Vocals
Dustin Newcombe – Guitar

(NO, don’t worry, we will never include any ‘dubstep’ in our music)

Mike will once again take on some backing vocals as well as Danny. Matty will be involved with writing in whatever capacity his touring schedule w/ Deez Nuts allows, but he will always be a part of this band as he was there throughout our hardest and most trying times.

Keeping with our recurring theme of progression the album will take a page from ALL of our previous records as well as introduce new styles and techniques in a setting that we couldn’t have imagined creating when we were younger. We’re pulling out all the stops, laying all our cards out on the table and going for the throat.

Thank you for sticking with us. We write music for ourselves but we absolutely love to make our fans happy…more news, updates and demos in the coming weeks!!! Thanks
