Ladder Devils (ex-The Minor Times) will issue their full-length debut “Nowhere Plans” through Brutal Panda records on June 26th. Details have been made public for The Devil Wears Prada‘s nearing live CD/DVD set “Dead&Alive“. The collection captures the bands December 14th, 2011 Worcester, MA show of their “The Dead Throne Tour“.
Along with audio/video of the concert, it will feature a wealth of behind the scenes footage put together by band guitarist/vocalist Jeremy DePoyster. The effort will see a June 26th release through Ferret Music with pre-orders to be launched tomorrow, May 22nd, at Tdwpstore.com.

A song has arrived online from late Gwar guitarist Cory Smoot‘s upcoming posthumous The Cory Smooth Experiment release, “When Worlds Collide“. You can find a stream of the track “Mutilation” over at Guitarworld.com. Metal Blade will release the aforementioned album on June 05th with all proceeds going towards The Smoot Family Fund.

Rise To Remain have released a free download of their new track “Heartless” through their official website, Risetoremain.com (signup required.) The song is one of the four additional songs set to appear on the upcoming June 05th U.S. release of the bands latest album, “City Of Vultures“, via Century Media.

Black September have begun recording their new studio album for Prosthetic Records. Sessions are taking place in Chicago, IL with Andy Nelson while “Into The Darkness Into The Void” has been revealed as the title for the effort. Band guitarist C.M. spoke on the album, offering:

A July 27th Columbus, OH show at the Alrosa Villa has been newly-announced for this years “Shockwave Festival“. The trek of course features Fear Factory, Voivod, Cattle Decapitation and more.
In addition to the above official show comes word of a July 19th Trenton, NJ off-date. That show will occur at The Backstage at the Championship Bar and feature “Shockwave Festival” acts Cattle Decapitation, Misery Index, Revocation, Havok and Vildhjarta.
