Lamb Of God‘s new single “Ghost Walking” has been posted for streaming online over at Metal Sucks. The track will receive a release as a digital single through most digital outlets tomorrow, December 06th. It is the first music to surface from the bands forthcoming album “Resolution“, which will land in stores on January 24th through Epic.

Update – December 05th 8:34am:

It has since been revealed that the music video for “Ghost Walking” will debut online tomorrow, December 06th. Furthermore, the iTunes pre-order for “Resolution” will go live tomorrow as well and will feature the “Resolution” b-side “Digital Sands” and a live version of the song “Vigil“. The latter recording is taken from the groups “Wrath” world tour.

Ghost Walking” will be given as a free instant download to those who pre-order the album via iTunes or the bands official website.

A sample of Lamb Of God‘s new single “Ghost Walking” has been making the rounds online, you can check it out over at Amazon.com. The song is set to debut on Sirius XM’s “Liquid Metal” this coming Monday, December 05th, at 7am EST/4am PST.

It will receive a release as a digital single the following day, December 06th. The song is taken from the bands forthcoming album “Resolution“, which is on course for a January 24th release date through Epic.

New The Dillinger Escape Plan Album In The Works

It would appear that The Dillinger Escape Plan‘s focus is now shifting towards a new album. Some recent tweets from band frontman Greg Puciato regarding that include:

“Ben and Billy working on new DEP in the dressing room. After ten years it still makes my heartrate go up to hear new DEP ideas forming.”

“I know it’s time to write a new album when it feels like this. After “Option” I couldn’t even imagine writing anymore. So draining. Time now”

“That said, we have no intention of writing a “better” Option Paralysis. We’re gonna unleash a whole ‘nother beast that lives on it’s own.”

Testament Officially Comment On Departure Of Drummer Paul Bostaph

Testament frontman Chuck Billy has released an official statement regarding the departure of drummer Paul Bostaph. Here’s how it reads:

“I, Eric, Alex, and Greg want to congratulate our brother, forever, Paul Bostaph on his new band, BlackGates. And while ‘The Hands of Mayhem’ will be sorely missed from our band, we wish him the ultimate success in everything that he does in his future.”

According to the the press release, the band are “now actively seeking the heaviest drummer on the planet.” The band will release their new album “The Dark Roots Of Earth” in the spring with touring planned to follow.

Narrows Finish Mixing New Effort

Narrows (ex-Botch, etc.) recently finished up mixing their new outing with Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Isis) at Red Room in Seattle, WA. More details on the outing are expected soon.

Clip Available From Upcoming “Vans Warped Tour” Documentary

A new clip from an upcoming documentary on the annual “Vans Warped Tour” has been posted online over at Offthewall.tv. The documentary, which is apparently titled “No Room For Rockstars: The Vans Warped Tour” will see a release next year and was directed by Parris Patton and produced by Agi Orsi & Stacey Peralta.
