Hail The Villain have inked a deal with Roadrunner Records and will release their new album “Population: Declining” through the label next year. The band have also inked a deal with Warner Music for the Canadian territory.

Trivium drummer Travis Smith will be sitting out the bands impending tour with Chimaira, Whitechapel and Dirge Within in order to attend to “personal business.” In his place will be former Trivium drum tech, Nick Augusto, who also handles the drums for Maruta.
Wretchedpain recently completed mixing and mastering their new album with Zeuss (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall) and are currently locking down a label to release it. For now, the group, who feature Kevin Talley of Daath fame and Sam Bean of The Berzerker, Mithras, etc., have posted two new tracks online here.
The song “The Dawn Of Ambition” features guest vocals from Jason Netherton, while “Whorgasm” features a guest solo from Jay Siebert of Senate fame.
Destrophy’s (ex-downthesun) newly-released self-titled Victory debut has been made available online in streaming audio form here.
Chimaira have posted a live performance of their track “The Disappearing Sun” online, you can view it below. The footage was helmed by videographer Todd Bell and will appear on the bands upcoming new DVD release which is due out next year.
Mastodon will be the musical guest on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” this Thursday, October 29th.
