Swift have posted an update regarding their current happenings, it is as follows:
"What's up everyone. We finally met this Thursday to dicuss our plans for the new year. We've actually made a few important decions. First of all, we're going to be working with a booking agency called the The Direct Agency. They are going to be handling our booking from here on out so we should be playing more quality shows more often this year. We were origionally planning to take off Jan. and Feb. to work on new material for our new record entitled "The Absolute Uncontrollable" but have decided to not do so based on the plans that The Direct Agency have in store for us. We are planning to continue working on a new material while doing key shows until summer. We may be able to get the new record out in late spring but probably early fall. It just depends on how the material come along. We just really want this new album to kick ass! We are actually in the planning stages for a live CD and/or DVD to be recorded and release in the spring. We'll keep you posted on that. Keep an eye out for that and other news like show dates and new merchandise in the near future. Thanks for your continued support.
Love,

"I guess you all know now that the rumours are true. im sorry that we didnt let you in on it sooner but we wanted to wait wait until all the details were finalized. I know some of you feel betrayed, but we let the news out as soon as we could. this has been something that has been coming for years. weve been growing apart musically since before the height of callousness. the four of us have taken our music as far as we could together, and now its time to move on. i hope you can all understand and respect our reasons. ill keep you informed on whats going on."
He Also elaborated a bit more on the reasons behind the split, saying:
"were working on new stuff as we speak. Spineshank is one of the most important things in my life and i want only the best for it. we are looking for a new singer, if the new stuff feels like spineshank, then we will continue on with the name. a big part of the split was because the 3 of us want to play heavier music than jonny does. now we are able to find someone who shares our vision."
