The first way the band have decided to raise money for the organization is by selling a new live bootleg CD, taken from their stint on this years Lollapalooza 2003 tour. The studio line-up for Soulfly's upcoming new album has now been solidified as former drummer Joe Nunez (now of Stripping The Pistol) has signed on to handle the drums for the effort. Lamb Of God will be filming a video for their track "Ruin" in Los Angeles, CA this week with director Dan Rush. The video is planned to begin airing late this month, coinciding with the bands stint on the MTV2 Headbangers Ball Tour 2003". Bobby Burns of Primer 55/Beautiful fame has now officially been recruited to handle the studio bass duties for Soulfly on their upcoming new album. Burns will be replacing Marcello D. Rapp, who recently exited the band alongside fellow members Mike Doling and Roy Mayorga. As previously reported, Marc Rizzo of Ill Nino/Coretez fame has been chosen to handle some of the studio guitar duties on the new effort as well. A studio replacement for Mayorga has yet to be named however. A more permanent line-up is expected to be finalized in the coming months.

Meshuggah frontman Jens Kidman will be guest appearing on Mushroomhead's upcoming new album "XIII". Kidman lends his talents to the track "The Dream Is Over". "XIII" will be released through Republic/Unviersal on October 14th. In related news, Meshuggah have begun work on new material for their next album, which is expected out some time next year.

Former Colepitz vocalist Rob Egbert has joined forces with a number of MA/CT area musicians to form a new band dubbed Cade.
