Skindred have posted an audio/video preview of their upcoming album "Babylon" online, you can check it out here. "Babylon" is slated for an April 22nd release date through Bieler Bros./MCA and the first single "Set It Off" is impacting at radio now. In related news, Skindred will be embarking on a North American trek with Nonpoint, Slaves On Dope and Hotwire in April, dates and venues are forthcoming.

Sepultura have chosen "Roorback" as the title to their upcoming new album which they are currently mixing with the albums producer, Steve Evetts (Hatebreed, Glassjaw). The track listing for the effort is as follows:

Poltrona, a band which features members of Tribal Disco Noise, Insolence and Orange Drop Kid fame, are said to be in the process of locking down a deal with Maverick. In related news, Phillip Bailey of Tribal Disco Noise/Systematic fame has joined forces with Brian Harrah of Tura Satana/Professional Murder Music fame in a new project with former Puddle Of Mudd members Jimmy Allen and Troy McKoy. The project is tentatively eyeing the name of Cut Out, though its not known if it will go past the embryo stages.

Blood Has Been Shed have finished recording their upcoming new album "Spirals" with producer Zeuss (Shadows Fall, God Forbid) and are planning to release the effort through Ferret Music in June. At present you can sample two new tracks from the effort here. Blood Has Been Shed of course feature frontman Howard Jones, who also handles the vocal duties for Killswitch Engage.

Warped DVD - wookubus

A live DVD chronicling last years Warped Tour will be released on April 01st. The effort, entitled "Vans Warped Tour Live", will feature live performances from a host of bands that performed on last years edition of the trek, including those from The Used, Bad Religion, Hot Water Music and more. 27 live song performances are expected to be featured in total.

Despite playing their last show, which was filmed for an upcoming DVD release, this past weekend, All Else Failed will indeed still complete the recording of their upcoming new album "This Never Happened" with Dillinger Escape Plan drummer Chris Pennie handling the percussion duties. "This Never Happened" is expected out through Now Or Never later this year. On a related now, All Else Failed will be continuing to make music together under a different name following the completion of the aforementioned album, more info is forthcoming.

Mudvayne recently filmed a new video for their track "Not Falling" with director Dean Karr (Queens Of The Stone Age, Marilyn Manson), having been unhappy with the video they originally shot for the track. The new clip is expected to begin airing soon and the band plan to follow it up with "World So Cold". For more on Mudvayne, check here.

Fear Factory have posted an mp3 of their track "Frequency" online for download here. The song, which has seen a release previously, will be included on the bands upcoming b-sides, rarities and remixes collection "Hatefiles", due out April 08th through Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam.

Drive Engaged - wookubus

More information has been released on Drive, a new band who hail from the New England area. The group feature former Killswitch Engage vocalist Jesse David Leach, Pete Cortese of Overcast/Killswitch Engage/Medium fame and Derek Kerswill of Shadows Fall/Medium fame. At present the band are gearing up to make their live debut in Boston, MA on March 13th and are also slated to hit the studio next month to begin recording their debut EP with producer Zeuss (Shadows Fall, Hatebreed). A release in the coming months is expected.

311 are currently still locked away in their own Hive Studios in the Los Angeles, CA area recording their upcoming new album with producer Ron Saint Germain (Bad Brains, dredg). The group hope to have the effort completed by late March/early April, with a release through Volcano in late July/early August. In the meantime, tentative track titles for the effort include:

Alien Ant Farm have tapped Robert DeLeo and Dean DeLeo of the Stone Temple Pilots to produce their upcoming new album which they are currently in pre-production on in the Los Angeles, CA area. The group expect to begin tracking shortly with a release through Dreamworks later this year.
