"The great thing about Slipknot is it is one of those bands that if it hangs out too long, it will not be cool at all. So we do what we do with Slipknot. Chevelle's latest effort "Wonder What's Next" has now been officially certified gold in the U.S. for sales in excess of 500,000 copies. In other news, the group recently shot a video for their next single "Send The Pain Below" in Toronto, ON with director Robert Hales (nine inch nailes, Stone Temple Pilots". The clip is expected to begin airing early next year. Furthermore, the band will have a previously unreleased track titled "Until You've Reformed" included on the upcoming soundtrack to the feature film adaptation of the comic book character Daredevil. The soundtrack will also feature new material from Fuel and Evanescence, plus a collaboration between the remaining members of Drowning Pool and Rob Zombie when it lands in stores through Wind-Up on February 04th.

Candiria have now begun work on new material for their next album while simultaneously continuing their extensive rehabilitation following the traffic accident that left them with multiple serious injuries back in September. Some of the new music the band are working on will also be included in an upcoming feature film, though no details have been announced as of yet. Pending a few more operations and some more physical therapy, the group should be able to begin touring by around spring next year. Meanwhile, the new album will likely see a release in the summer through their own C.O.M.A. Imprint/Lakeshore label as the band have now completed their contract with Century Media.

Cave In have chosen the track "Anchor" as the first single from their upcoming RCA debut "Antenna", which will land in stores on March 18th. A video for the song will be shot with director Dean Karr (Queens Of The Stone Age, Marilyn Manson) shortly and should begin airing sometime early next year. Two different versions of a CD single for the track will also be released, one will feature the music video for their song "Devil's Head Pinata" while the other will be backed with live versions of "Stained Silver" and "Lift-Off".
