"Cochise was the last great American Indian chief to die free and absolutely unconquered. When several members of his family were captured, tortured, and hung by the U.S. Cavalry, Cochise declared war on the entire Southwest and went on an unholy rampage, a warpath to end all warpaths. He and his warriors drove out thousands of settlers. Cochise the Avenger, fearless and resolute, attacked everything in his path with an unbridled fury. This song kinda sounds like that."
A video for the aforementioned track directed by Mark Romanek (nine inch nails) will be shot shortly.

Mudvayne have set "The End Of All Things To Come" as the title to their forthcoming new album which will see a release through Epic on November 19th. The effort is tentatively expected to feature around 12 songs and will be preceded by the first single "Not Falling" which will hit radio early next month. Audioslave have tapped director Mark Romanek (nine inch nails) to helm the video for their upcoming first single "Cochese". The group will film the clip in the Los Angeles, CA area later this month while their forthcoming and as of yet untitled debut effort will see a release on November 19th through Epic. A fall tour is also in the works for the band though no dates have been announced as of yet.

Slipknot have decided upon "Disaster Pieces" as the tentative title to their forthcoming live DVD/VHS release which will land in stores on November 26th through Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam. The offering chronicles a performance that took place in London, ENG this past February.
