Primus have two releases due out on October 17th. First up is a best-of collection entitled "They Can't All Be Zingers: The Best Of Primus", which will be released by Chronicles/Universal. Also due out on the same day is a new DVD from the group entitled "Blame It On The Fish", which will see a release through band frontman Les Claypool's own Prawn Song Records label. No word yet on what the latter will feature. As previously reported, the band are planning to tour in support of both releases with a November/December North American tour in the works.

In light of his recent health problems, which saw him suffer from a seizure following a show in Mokena, IL on August 19th, Ankla have parted ways with their bassist Edgar Gonzalez. The official word from band guitarist Ramon Ortiz is as follows:
As we are about to finish the first month on our national tour with nonpoint, we would like to thank everybody that has been a lot of familiar faces back from my puya days as well as new ones.
It's been awesome. Special shout out to our touring partners seemless, silent civilian and nonpoint for being our brothers in this journey. We do have an unfortunate announcement to make. Due to an unexpected health problem on the road Edgar gonzalez will no longer perform bass duties with ANKLA. He is actually in good condition and we wish him the best of luck .A replacement for him will soon be announced. Ankla bassist Edgar Gonzalez was recently hospitalized for two days following a seizure he suffered after a show in Mokena, IL this past Saturday, August 19th. He has now returned home to Los Angeles, CA and will be unable to finish the rest of the bands ongoing tour with Nonpoint, Silent Civilian and Seemless. Despite this, the band will continue on with the trek, which winds down on September 30th.
