Live 4 This - wookubus

Hatebreed have posted live versions of their tracks "This Is Now", "Destroy Everything", "I Will Be Heard" and "Live For This" online here. All four of the tracks come from the groups new live DVD, "Live Dominance", which will see a September 02nd release date through Koch. The tracks will be made available for the next 7 days. Hatebreed also have a covers album dubbed "For The Lions" due out on October 28th.

Bleeding Through look to have resolved their much-publicized issues with their label Trustkill and are now moving forward together. An update from the band regarding that can be found here. The groups new album "Declaration" is scheduled for a September 30th release date. A video for the tracks first single "Death Anxiety" is also now in the works.

Production Of The Heart - wookubus

A variety of musicians, actors, journalists and more will be featured in the upcoming documentary "The Heart Is A Drum Machine". According to the press release, the film "explores music's role in shaping human history, the profound connection people have had to music throughout human history, how it has shaped our experiences and its involvement in our daily lives." In addition to providing his thoughts in the film, Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan will contribute a cover of Elton John's "Rocket Man". Other notable artists featured include Page Hamilton (Helmet), Wes Borland (Black Light Burns, Marilyn Manson), Gene Hoglan (Strapping Young Lad, etc.), John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Brendon Small (Dethklok) and many more. Put together by Zu33 Films, production on the effort has just been completed.

Brother Von Doom are shooting a video for their track "Eater Of Days" today, August 18th, in New Jersey with director David Brodsky (The Black Dahlia Murder, Suicide Silence). The treatment for the clip is expected to feature a medieval theme. The groups new album "Relentless" will see an October 14th release date through Deathcote, while the track in question can be found here.

Demon Hunter are planning to release a new live CD/DVD effort dubbed "45 Days And 1 Night" in November. The outing is expected to center around the bands "Stronger Than Hell Tour", which took place earlier this year. Both a tour documentary and live footage/audio from the bands June 26th, 2008 show at Rockettown in Nashville, TN are expected to be featured.

Kingdom Of Sorrow will be recruiting a fill-in for guitarist Kirk Windstein in the coming months, given his touring commitments to Down during the same time. Here's what Windstein had to say on the matter:
"Hey everyone Kirk here, just wanted to issue an update on the status of the Down and Kingdom of Sorrow touring. Obviously my commitment is to Down and I cannot wait for these Australian and Japanese dates as well as the Metallica shows in the US, I am beyond honored and excited! Since Kingdom Of Sorrow has been confirmed on the Gwar tour for a while I am insisting that they find a fill in for me and do the tour but I will try and make as many shows as humanly possible. It looks likely that I will be able to finish the last few weeks of the tour with them. Thanks, Keep it heavy, K.W."

"We have a new guitar player that's gonna play for the first time tomorrow; it's the first time we'll play on stage. His name is Wes Borland and he used to be in a really terrible band that he left because he felt that it was a destructive force in art, and he has his own band, Black Light Burns, but now he is in Marilyn Manson. We don't know how permanent that is, but starting tomorrow will be the first step. So this will be the most indestructible Marilyn Manson."
Borland himself had the following to offer on the matter:
"I am joining MM for the time being, but as I said before, Black Light Burns is still going strong and I have no problem operating in 2 bands. MM is playing a show here in Korea, where I am now, in about 8 hours and then I'm on the way back home to start doing some guitars with Nick on the next BLB record."

Stick To Your Guns have been announced as the final act to be added to the 2008 edition of the "Hell On Earth Tour" which will take place overseas beginning late September. As previously reported, the trek, which also features Walls Of Jericho, Evergreen Terrace, Cataract, Animosity and The Red Chord, will kick off on September 23rd and run through to October 19th throughout Europe.

Divine Heresy have now officially tapped Travis Neal (The Bereaved, Pushed) as their new frontman. Furthermore, the band recently re-recorded their track "Bleed The Fifth" with Neal on vocals, which you can now check out online here. Speaking on Neal's addition to the line-up, band guitarist Dino Cazares had the following to say:
"We are beyond stoked to have Travis on board with us and we immediately knew that he was the perfect guy for the job. He definitely has the range and stage presence to make him one of the genre's most lethal vocalists out there and the new material we are writing is going to smoke our debut. It's more brutal, faster and pissed off, so you better start preparing yourselves now. Until then, we went ahead and re-recorded "Bleed The Fifth" with Travis and it's just a little taste of what this guy is truly capable of so enjoy and we will see you soon."

"...We just got back from Byron's house finishing up a cover song we recorded for the new album recording sessions. My brother is a big fan of MUSE so we covered the song "Stockholm Syndrome". We were worried as hell about it but in the end it sounded pretty killer! The record is sounding very good so far from the test mixes we've been receiving. I know before I said I had no idea what it sounds like but now I do: It sounds CRAZY!"
