Scars On Broadway (System Of A Down) are in the final stages of of completing their self-titled debut album which they hope to have out by late this summer. Born Of Fire, who feature various members of Abigail Williams fame in their line-up, have inked a deal with Roadrunner Records. Those unfamiliar with the group can check them out here. Meanwhile, the new project appears to cast doubt on the future of Abigail Williams with the bands upcoming new album that is due out through Candlelight in September looking to be their last.

Walk With God - wookubus

Lamb Of God have set "Walk With Me In Hell" as the title to their new 2-DVD effort which will see a July 01st release date through Epic. The set will feature over five hours of footage, including a feature documentary, multiple live performances, the making of the bands latest album "Sacrament", their uncut live performance at the 2007 edition of the annual "Download Festival" plus the video for "Redneck" and the subsequent making of it, among other things. The effort was directed by Doug Spangenberg, who has also helmed the bands previous DVD releases. For now, a trailer for the set can be found online here. In other Lamb Of God news, the band have inked a deal with Roadrunner for all territories outside of North America. The first release through the new partnership will be the aforementioned "Walk With Me In Hell" 2-DVD set, which will see a June 30th release date overseas through the label.

Following weeks of alleged tension which is said to have culminated in an onstage blowout over the weekend, Divine Heresy are highly rumored to have parted ways with their frontman Tommy Vext. Thursday frontman Geoff Rickly recently elaborated on a number of his ongoing projects, including his power-violence group United Nations, which features Converge's Ben Koller and Daryl Palumbo of Glassjaw/Head Automatica fame. Here's what he had to say about the latter:
"United Nations has 10 songs recorded. Three of them are still missing bass tracks, and one of the members who has a billion other bands has recorded about half the stuff. So we're pretty close. I think that band will release the record this summer. I hope, at least. It's going really well. We're already ... the first record I going to be a full-length on Eyeball [which released Thursday's 1999 debut, Waiting], and then we're already doing a 7-inch on Deathwish."

Necrophagist, Dying Fetus, Beneath The Massacre, Into Eternity, Neuraxis, Whitechapel, Veil Of Maya, Divinity and Common Grave will be joining forces for the "Summer Slaughter Canada Tour" which will kick off in Eastern Canada on August 15th and end in Vancouver, BC on August 27th.
