Celebrity have managed to build a steady buzz for themselves over the past few years in the TN scene with a demo that eventually gained them the ear of One Day Savior Recordings. 30 Seconds To Mars:
Comprised of a band that features movie star Jared Leto (Requiem For A Dream, Fight Club) along with his brother Shannon and more, 30 Seconds To Mars are perhaps the first band to shatter the curse of a band with an actor in its ranks being mediocre. First rate prog rock with touches of new wave and modern metal is what is served up here and star power or not, this five piece have created an album that deserves to be heard. |

Recover:
Having been around for the better part of a decade, Recover have underwent many a lineup change in the past few years but with a solidified unit now in place, the band have begun to make their ascent to the top. With a new EP produced by Brian McTernan (Cave In, The Movielife) on the way this summer and dates alongside Glassjaw, Poison The Well, Thrice, Coheed And Cambria and more already lined up for the coming months, Recover is a name you will be hearing a lot more in the very near future. |
