Byzantine:
Hailing from West Virginia, Byzantine have managed to craft their blend of technical metal under the radar of most, despite striking up a kinship with the ever outspoken Lamb Of God. Having now signed a deal with Lamb Of God's former label, Prosthetic Records, the group are planning to release their debut effort "The Fundamental Component" nationwide next month and demolish stages soon after. |

Innaway:
Although they formed in California, Innaway's debut outing, "The Ghost Admirers", ironically saw its first release in Europe thanks to the Germany based label, Audiolith. A North American release followed soon after, as did a number of shows around their local region. Consistently wowing audiences, the band gained strong word of mouth which led them to reputable management and the attention of Some Records, who will be issuing their full-length effort early this year. |

Classic Case

Vext:
New York's Vext are in good company on their upcoming new album, "Cast The First Stone", which is slated for a release through Lakeshore next month. Recording the effort with producer Michael Barile (Candiria, E.Town Concrete) and Candiria drummer Ken Schalk, the tenacity of the groups weighty metal and lofty melodies are expertly captured. Tack on a guest appearance from Carley Coma of Candiria and some gritty NY influenced metal and it looks like the band won't have to cast the stone very far to make an impact. |
