PRP: Alright, classic question that I'm sure you've answered tons of times, how did the band come together.
Rob: Tommy, make and Jonny were in a band and I was in another band we all new each other played the same back yards etc. etc. well they decided to split up and later reinvented the band while I was in my band Spineshank blew up and were parting at my house tom had asked me to Phil in and I told him to make me permanent and that's pretty much it.
PRP: Where did the name come from?
Rob: Pretty much there was alot off backstabbing going down and voila Spineshank.
PRP: Did you have any releases before you signed with Roadrunner?
Rob: Nope just a demo.
PRP: What songs were on it?
Rob: The original versions of "Stain", "Mend" and a song that probably never see the light of day.
PRP: Haha, how did you get signed with Roadrunner?
Rob: Mike gave Dino (Fear Factory) a demo at a sick of it all show Dino then handed it towards. Roadrunner they eventually took notice and within less then a year give or take some days we were offered a deal.
PRP: What the hell is that on the cover of "Strictly Diesel"?
Rob: It's an old fucked up beyond fucked up piano.
PRP: Who's was it?
Rob: It belonged to one of the 2 studios we were at.
PRP: Oh, Any plans to tour soon?
Rob: No touring till this album is recorded.
Rob: And done.
PRP: When is your next record gonna be out?
Rob: Spring of next year if everything works out right.
PRP: Does it have a title yet?
Rob: No titles yet we thinking of going with a self titled on this on but who knows.
PRP: Any definite songs gonna be on the new album?
Rob: So far we've got maybe about 7 or 8 songs probably 5 will be on the album for sure or if by some chance we write songs that Blow this new stuff away.
PRP: If you had to pick any bands to tour with at the moment who would it be?
Rob: Probably System Of A Down ,Static-X, Orgy and Slipknot I would love to tour or tour again with these bands.
PRP: That'd be an awesome tour.
Rob: Yeah.
Rob: It would.
PRP: What's in rotation in your CD player?
Rob: Beatles, Beatles, and more Beatles.
PRP: If I was to ask you one question right now what would it be?
Rob: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.................
Rob: I have no idea.
Rob: Lol.

PRP: What is your favorite city to play in?
Rob: Anywhere on the east coast cause when a show goes off it really goes off.
PRP: Have you toured out of the US?
Rob: Yeah we went to Europe twice once with Fear Factory and once with System Of A Down.
PRP: What was the last show/concert you went to and who played?
Rob: Um it was in Coal Chamber, Machine Head, Sevendust and Slipknot.
PRP: Do you plan to release a home video type thing anytime soon, or have you ever thought about it?
Rob: Don't know as of right now the only thing that matters is releasing album #2.
PRP: Are you going for the same type of sound in the 2nd album or are you changing some things?
Rob: The music has definitely gonna be a little different but there is still gonna be alot of electronics and what not that makes Spineshank, Spineshank.
PRP: Who does all the samples and electronic stuff?
Rob: Tom plays all of it.
PRP: Fear Factory has been on alot of video games and upcoming ones, do you see yourselves taking that route?
Rob: It's a very big possibility.
PRP: Are you considering it?
Rob: If the right offer I guess came hell we jump on it its another way for people to hear us.
PRP: Is there any material released that's not on "Strictly Diesel"?
Rob: Nope the songs we went into the studio with are the only ones that have been released but there are demos with songs that nobody has really heard that will most likely never see the light of day.
PRP: What's your favorite site on the net to go to?

Rob: A band called Mugg that's outta l.a. they're coming up.
