Introduction: Charging out of Louisville, KY, Primer 55 took the year by storm as their Island/Def Jam debut album "Introduction To Mayhem", which featured guest appearances from members of Incubus and (hed)p.e., propelled them onto tours with Machine Head, Soulfly, Staind, Sevendust and more, not to mention a choice Second Stage slot on the Ozzfest 2000 tour. But the band also suffered some heavy casualties as the year progressed, finding them parting ways with their drummer and bassist along with a string of replacement players, who could not keep up with the bands grueling touring schedule and hectic lifestyle.
