Introduction: 2000 marked the beginning of the next step in [minus]'s career. After independently releasing their impressive EP which featured a guest appearance from none other than former Far frontman, Jonah Matranga, the group took the internet to gain recognition and as a result of their efforts, landed the PRP Band Of The Month slot in June. With strong live shows and the spotlight of interest now shining directly upon them, they then uploaded some of their material to Farmclub.com in early June and soon found themselves flying out to Los Angeles, CA in August to tape a performance for the television show, alongside Incubus, Green Day, Chimaira and more. After returning home from their short trip, they took things easy and continued to play a few local gigs while working on new material and developing their sound for their eventual next release. The performance later aired internationally in September and it was just days afterwards, when the GA based quartet found themselves the focus of various different labels all eager to see exactly what they were capable of. As the year 2000 drew to a close the band were still diligently working on new material and meeting with various labels, but with the intense performance that was captured for their TV debut garnering them fans nationwide and their material as strong as ever.
