Introduction:
Glitch are a hot up and coming act from the Los Angeles, CA area that started as a side project for a few musicians and quickly evolved into something much more permanent. Originally featuring Downset. bassist James Morris, the band is also comprised of Scott Ueda formerly of Tura Satana, former Fear Factory touring keyboardist and Carbon 12 mastermind Steve Tushar and relative new comer Kyle Spicer. Spending early 2000 establishing their sound and working on material, the group tracked their first demo in the spring, which went onto become a Featured Release at The PRP in June. After playing a few showcases and meeting with various interested labels, the group were faced with a tough decision when they realized a new bassist would be necessary as James had previous commitments, touring with Downset.. As such, Mike Peoples of 16volt fame was brought on board and the band then spent the tail end of 2000 firming up their sound and working on another new demo which they hope will solidify them a recording contract and enable them to spread their music worldwide.  - wookubus
