Introduction: Dog Fashion Disco have fearlessly soldiered on through their native MD/VA/DC scene for many years and managed to build up a substantial fan base on the success of their 1998 release, "The Embryo's in Bloom". Yet it was the year 2000 that saw the band ascend to the next level when they decided to upload mp3's of their material to the Farmclub.com website. As a result, the spring found the band flying out to Los Angeles, CA to tape a live performance for the show alongside such acts as the Stone Temple Pilots, P.O.D. and Methods Of Mayhem. The performance later aired internationally in the summer and it wasn't long after that when the group signed to Spitfire Records and headed to the studio with producer Drew Mazurek (Nothingface) to record their upcoming debut for the label. Following up their studio time with an extensive east coast fall tour the group began to prepare themselves for the road ahead and ending the year by playing the occasional show in and around their local area. Now, with a fresh year ahead of them and their Spitfire debut, "Anarchists Of Good Taste" set to hit stores in March complete with a guest appearance from System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian in tow, anarchy looks set to rear its head in the U.S. once again, except this time, it will be done with style, Dog Fashion Disco style. - wookubus Albums
