Introduction:
Breach Of Trust created quite a stir this year with the release of their astonishing full length CD, "Songs For Dying Nations", which was put out in May. With the album becoming an instant hit among the underground press, they decided to set out to leave their mark, heading out to Los Angeles, CA for a string of west coast dates and showcases during the summer. Although the band didn't necessarily pack the houses while they were out on the road, they did succeed in sparking heavy label attention with them and soon found themselves the topic of an article in Billboard Magazine who proclaimed them "one of the best unsigned bands in Canada". It wasn't long after that, when the groups self shot video for their track "Who Am I" began receiving play on Canadian music video station Much Music and the band wound up becoming the focus of a special feature on Canadian Music which aired on the channel as well. All of this and more managed to build up enough buzz to have over a half of dozen major record labels show heavy interest in the band and as such, the year 2001 looks to be the year all nations will get the chance to hear this four piece's songs for dying nations. - wookubus
