It’s the “Hey, Remember 1999?” Tour!

‘Debonaire’ has always been one of my favorite songs.

‘I don’t care nothin’ about it! Woooooooow yeah!’

Thanks Adam. I read this headline and thought “Definitely Machine Shop, right?” even though I live 2000 miles away band have never stepped foot in the Midwest, let alone Michigan let alone Flint. I’m fascinated beyond words by this place though. Here in California the shitty bands play the same places as the good bands.

There always seems to be a Joliet in there too. You guys need to quit patronizing this bullshit.

That’s because Mojoes in Joliet holds about 1,100 but will book almost anyone. Even if it’s a show no one will go to like Shadows Fall and Iwrestledabearonce. It’s a fine enough and has gotten some awesome show like Opeth, IN Flames, Hatebreed, Summer Slaughter, All-Stars, Paganfest, Killswitch, Amon Amarh, Morbid Angel, Carcass, Between The Buried And Me, Misfits, Kreator etc. They also get a decent amount of rap in there with Tech N9ne and Hopsin selling it out a least 2 or 3 times a year a piece. Although it does keep giving shit like All That Remains, Soulfly and HellYeah a place to play every few months. They also bring in a lot of dinosaur nu-metal acts who draw much better crowds then they should in this decade.

Oh and I swear Twiztid and Soulfly must be having a competition to see who can play it more times in a calendar year.

They certainly get an assortment of acts at the ‘Shop. Off the top of my head, the headliners I’ve seen there are Foxy Shazam, In Flames, All That Remains, Soil, Sevendust, Devour the Day, Trapt, 10 Years, etc. You can see Sebastian Bach one week and After the Burial the next. And not going to lie, they have some pretty cool apparel –

Sunflower Dead is also on the bill. I just hope Jared gets a semi-decent payday honestly.

    • mYstic headlock

Is Sunflower Dead really on the bill? That’s one of those things that’s so obvious you have a hard time accepting it.
