Tim Lambesis’ (As I Lay Dying, Etc.) Sentencing In Murder-For-Hire Case Delayed

As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis was originally due to appear in court today, May 02nd, for his sentencing; having previously pled guilty on February 25th, 2014 to a charge of solicitation of another to commit murder. However, according to Lambgoat, the sentencing has now been postponed and will now occur on May 16th.

The charge stems from a murder-for-hire scheme in which Lambesis attempted to hire an undercover detective posing as a hitman to murder his estranged wife Meggan Lambesis. Tim was originally arrested on the charges on May 07th, 2013.

      • When you put it like that, maybe this was all just a tactical move by Tim because he ran out of material for new ADM stuff, so decided to get locked away as an excuse? It totally makes sense when I think of it like that. Totally.

Works for me, except the part where he wanted a woman killed because of his own bad decisions.

        • And that’s just the beauty of it, right? Maybe he didn’t want her killed and he KNEW he’d get busted. This way, he still commits a crime, goes to prison, has the pressure taken off of him for new ADM albums and nobody gets hurt in the process!

I don’t mean to be presumptuous, but I’m pretty sure this is the exact scenario that happened.

Our first case is showing the world that Tim wasn’t a roided out rock star making stupid decisions that tried to have his wife killed, but really the poor victim of societal and fan pressures; a broken man at the end of his rope, desperately trying to escape the limelight.

A creature, yet a man, who’s indulgence with all things Arnold warped his mind into thinking he was of higher purpose. That purpose as explained by “Triple Brutal”, of Humping and Pumping… WITH.. the inclusion of murder for hire… This I ask you, jury… Is this a man? A being? Or a dog salavating to the smell of blood and vengeance.. This i ask you, jury… THIS…. I ask you.
