KXM’s (Korn, King’s X, Etc.) Debut Album Goes ‘Gold’

KXM—who feature members of Korn, King’s X, etc.—now have a gold record to their credit, kind of. See below for the plaque presented to the bands label Rat Pak Records for the release of their self-titled debut. As band drummer Ray Luzier (also of Korn) said of the plaque: “Who says you can’t get a gold record in 2014?!”

The bands self-titled looks to have already sold around 20,000 copies, if not more, since its March 11th release. While certainly impressive, it is obviously substantially short of the official RIAA gold certification of 500,000 copies sold.
