I have to check out these new additions still, but the original NYC date was $40, plus at least another $10 for food (which according to the site, was mandatory).

I went back to check; They’re actually around $30, so I’m an asshole on that front.

But yeah, still minimum requirement of $10 for food in order to be there. It’s the Highline Ballroom in Manhattan, so I’m not shocked.

I’ve never heard of a minimum food order. I’ve never in my life even ate at a concert. Can this be a minimum booze order as well or do they really force you to buy their shitty nachos and red vines?

MyDarkPassenger, I’ve never heard of it in regards to this kind of event, that’s for sure. I believe you get your own table, and you’re waited on. It’s a little bizarre.

I guess I could get into that at an acoustic show. I know that kind of thing is popular in Reno and Vegas, for bands like Staind *shudder*.
