Betraying The Martyrs Back Out Of Carnifex, I Declare War, Etc. Tour

Betraying The Martyrs have dropped off of Carnifex‘s coming ‘Die Without Hope‘ tour with issues obtaining visas being cited as the reason. The band said of the matter:

“In a very unfortunate turn of events, due to a delay in our visa process we sadly will not be joining Carnifex on their upcoming headlining tour.

We tried out best but the situation is out of our hands; we want to urge every one of our fans who was planning to come out, to get to the shows regardless and show huge support for Carnifex and company!

Don’t worry, we will be back very, very soon! -BTM”

“Sorry guys, this situation was completely in our hands, we should have taken care of this sooner and we take full responsibility.”
-Band statement that will never be made.

I was expecting to read that they backed out due to religious differences.

No, When I first heard about this tour I was like “those two bands on a tour, that could be trouble” only due to the fact that BTM’s are super positive type band where Carnifex is more… well not that. I love both bands btw.

    Betraying the Headliners.

    Suggestion for replacement: Lorna Shore

    • Alkeyhalikk

Not as direct support, Thy Art Is Murder would be perfect but that won’t happen. The tour will probably continue as is.

      • STH5563

That’s true. TAIM is already with Emmure though. I Declare War will probably move to the direct support spot. We’ll see. I’m going regardless of what happens.
