Cave In vocalist/guitarist Stephen Brodsky has shared the below picture of a royalty statement he recently recieved. He did not specify what the check was cut for, though he did offer the caption: “When a royalty statement itself costs more to print & mail than the actual royalty payment…”
While most of Cave In‘s back catalogue have been independent releases (via Hydra Head), the band did spend a short stint as part of the RCA Records roster back in the early 2000’s with the release of their album “Antenna“. Meanwhile, Brodsky is of course not the first metal-related musician to show off their check.
Brodsky himself has a new solo EP titled “Hit Or Mystery” slated for an April 16th release date.
