Swift Working On New Material, Pondering A New Album
An update recently made on Swift‘s Facebook suggests that some new material from the group may eventually see a release in the form of an album. Here’s what the bands Taylor Mabe said of that:
“Good news. Progress is being made. I tracked some new swift riffs tonight and we are making progress on potentially doing another Swift record. Since we live so far apart its difficult to get together. To help fund the new record and the aforementioned traveling expenses, We are thinking of starting a donation site. Would anyone contribute ?

You may recall that the band uploaded some then-new material just over a year back at this location.

Swift is hands down the best band my ole band ever played with. They were just incredible live. I remember the first time I saw them I so wanted to not like them (tour fatigue with other bands, it’s lame, I know) but they started playing To Phoenix by Foot and there was nothing to not like – and it just got more ridiculous from there. I don’t know why Swift didn’t break through more – their songs are insanely heavy and all the elements are there – especially live. And they have the most loyal fan base I’ve ever seen for an underground band. Damn, at their last show (and they have not been an active band at all) there were over 500 peeps there. So… needless to say, I’ll be supporting them when they launch the fundraising campaign.
